Run a scan
Start a scan from an asset, follow the agents live, and download the report when it is complete.
Start a scan
- Go to Assets and open the asset.
- In Start a scan, choose Blackbox, Graybox or Whitebox. A locked type tells you what it needs.
- Countermind takes you to Scans.
Follow it live
| Phase | What is happening |

| Queued | Waiting for an agent to pick it up. |
| Mapping | Agents sign in where they can and map pages, endpoints and workflows. |
| Investigating | Agents test the boundaries they found and raise signals. |
| Review | A Zaaf researcher is reproducing and judging what the agents found. |
| Report | Findings are published and the scan is complete. |
The counters show endpoints tested, signals raised and the current request rate. Live activity shows what the agents are doing in plain language.
Cancel a scan
Choose Cancel scan on a queued or running scan. A scan that is already with a researcher can't be cancelled.
History and reports
Finished scans move to History. For a completed scan, choose Report for the full PDF or Summary for the executive summary. Reports and exports.
